Long strings and symmetric product orbifold from the AdS₃Bethe equations

Abstract A particularly rich class of integrable systems arises from the AdS/CFT duality. There, two-dimensional quantum field theory living on string worldsheet may be understood in terms a non-relativistic factorized S matrix, and energy spectrum derived by techniques such as mirror thermodynamic Bethe ansatz or spectral curve. In case AdS 3 /CFT 2 without Ramond-Ramond fluxes, worldhseet is Wess-Zumino-Witten model with continous discrete representations which, for lowest allowed level, dual to symmetric product orbifold free theory. I will show how continuous arise integrability, that at level equations yield partition function nose.
